Euphorbia globosa is an unusual succulent with small spherical joints that are connected in chains along the plant. The round shapes give it a special appearance, reminiscent of small pearls, and make each specimen unique.

As a succulent, the plant can store water in its thick joints and therefore requires little watering. It thrives best in a bright spot where its distinctive shape can really come into its own.

Light and location:
Euphorbia globosa thrives best in plenty of light and can easily be placed in direct sun on a bright windowsill. It can also handle bright, indirect light, but the more light it gets, the more compact and attractive it will grow.

Like many other succulents, the plant can start growing in the direction of the light. To ensure even growth, you can therefore turn the plant slightly from time to time.

Watering:
Euphorbia globosa is a succulent and stores water in its small spherical segments. Therefore, it does not need frequent watering and prefers to dry out completely between waterings.

In summer, you can typically water about once a month, depending on how warm and bright it is. In winter, when the plant grows more slowly, you can often just water every 6-8 weeks.

As a rule of thumb: water a little too rarely rather than too often - overwatering is the most common cause of problems.

Temperature:
Euphorbia globosa thrives best at temperatures between 18-30 degrees. It can tolerate slightly cooler conditions during the winter, but should preferably not be exposed to temperatures below around 10-12 degrees for extended periods.
