Tips for caring for hanging plants

The growing season for these plants is in the spring and summer months, when you can give the plant a little liquid fertilizer every 2 to 3 waterings. We recommend repotting hanging plants when the plant grows too big for its current pot.

Watering: Do not overwater or allow them to dry out completely. Watering depends on the growing conditions, but a rule of thumb is that these plants can be watered about once a week when the top layer of soil is dry.
Light: Hanging plants thrive best in a bright location without direct sunlight, but they can also work in darker locations.
Temperature: Thrive at normal room temperature: about 18 - 25 degrees.

You can take cuttings of your hanging plants

You can propagate Monstera adansonii, Epipremnum aureum, Epipremnum marble queen, Scindapsus pictus with cuttings to grow your hanging plant into more plants. The easiest way to propagate hanging plants is to cut a healthy leaf tendril from the mother plant. It's best to cut so that there are 3-4 leaf joints at the top of the cutting, while the lower part of the cutting consists of pure stem without leaves cut with a clean cut. Place the cuttings in water in a location with plenty of access to daylight but not in bright sun until they have formed roots. The cuttings can then be planted in a small pot of soil. The new plant should be in a bright location and the soil should not dry out in the early stages until the plant has established itself.
